The Nicolas James Group appointed Corstorphine & Wright to submit a planning application for the refurbishment of The Nici Hotel, previously known as ‘The Savoy Hotel’.
Located in the West Cliff Conservation Area in Bournemouth, the proposal comprises 21 new bedrooms (totalling 106 bedrooms), new leisure and spa facilities, a roof-top restaurant, and an accompanying garden restaurant. The proposed extension to the hotel and garden interventions contributes to a much-needed 5* leisure facilities in the Bournemouth West Cliff area.
The Nici won the ‘Best New Hotel’ at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2024. It also a runner up for the ‘Best Revamped Hotel’ in the National Geographic Traveller Awards.
