The Innovation Centre Walsall, UK
A first-of-its-kind health and social wellbeing education centre.
A 20,000 sq. ft scheme, the Innovation Centre is for 14 to 19 year-olds specialising in health and social wellbeing diplomas, and is built using the SCAPE framework. While the concept exists in other locations, this will be the first purpose-built facility in the country.
Corstorphine & Wright was appointed to create an award-winning education centre built to maximise carbon reduction and to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard.
A wealth of development opportunities that replicate real-life situations.
The Innovation Centre offers learners of all ages and abilities opportunities to develop enterprise, IT, personal, learning and thinking skills through ‘Hands on Health’ experiences. These vivid simulations replicate real-life situations in health and social care.
The Innovation Centre provides facilities that all Walsall schools can use. The range of accommodation is expected to support other curriculum activities in the secondary, primary and special sectors.
Every project starts with a conversation.
Let’s discuss your opportunities, constraints and questions.
