One Temple Row Birmingham, UK
One Temple Row is city centre office refurbishment project with a focus on amenity provision and tenant wellbeing.
With a need for businesses to attract the very best staff, there is added emphasis on working environments being desirable spaces workers want to spend time in. Well designed spaces, access to outdoor areas, natural daylight and a great location are all key to creating happier and more productive employees.
One Temple Row is a building focused on wellbeing, aiming to create the very best experience for its daily occupants.
The existing 12 storey office accommodation has been reimagined to offer tenants and visitors the very best experience.
The double height reception space has been reconfigured for a grand welcome with a bespoke reception desk, including the addition of a business lounge that will link to an independent coffee shop next door. A mezzanine level has been created housing a bookable conference room overlooking the main entrance. Externally the ground floor has been given an upgrade with new glazing, black copper cladding and copper surrounds to articulate the entrance better.
The building core was fully refurbished to a high, contemporary standard including three service lifts and male and female WCs on each level. Secure cycle storage and high quality shower and changing facilities with lockers have been created for tenants. A contemplation/prayer room with washing facilities have also been included.
At third floor level, a large landscaped external roof terrace has been created which is one of the largest in the city centre which has breakout and private meeting areas and wifi throughout.
Office floor plates are open and flexible to suit tenants, offering views around the city through floor to ceiling glazing.
The project boasts one of the largest roof garden terraces in Birmingham City Centre
