Corstorphine & Wright were asked by the client to undertake the conversion of an existing seaside amusement arcade into a boutique bowling alley.
Despite the size of the project, the design had to incorporate a number of complex structural and planning solutions due to the building being both listed and in a Conservation Area. This meant it had to be sympathetically designed to meet the local surroundings as well as satisfy the current market demands for the new business.
Corstorphine & Wright were also commissioned to develop the interior design schemes, which have been based on the stylish, upscale and quirky bars of New York and San Francisco.
