Corstorphine & Wright was appointed by NSG Developments to act as Executive Architects to deliver a new residential development at Gulson Road in Coventry.

Located on an underused brownfield site close to the city centre, the scheme proposes a new sustainable, high quality residential development that will act as the gateway signalling an arrival point on the main route into Coventry from Warwick.

The flagship building at 16 storeys will be the focal point of the development, with further accommodation over a more sensitive, low scale development. Ground floor retail opportunities are provided at ground floor level creating a vibrant street scene.

Originally the scheme provided 167 apartments but following design reviews by Corstorphine & Wright creating more efficient floorplates, the apartment count increased to 200. Construction methods were analysed to decrease construction time with pre-cast cladding panels introduced.

A central street runs through the development maintaining access to nearby allotments whilst creating a community space.
