Russ Geary Associate Director
Russ Geary is a highly skilled all-around architect with over 18 years of experience and joined Corstorphine & Wright in 2019.
He specialises in the public sector, notably Custody/BlueLight and Defence, delivering some of the most innovative and sustainable facilities in the UK, across all stages
Russ is one of the highest securities cleared Architects in the UK, having previously worked closely with classified facilities. As part of the Police and Custody projects, Russ facilitated the UKs first NPEG Review. Russ is also lead on a new build Custody Suite, targeted as BREEAM Excellent – one of only a small number of modern suites rated as such.
Russ has a passion for using architecture to improve the welfare and wellbeing of all end-users, regardless of status within the building. Russ also has a keen interest in sustainable design and is part of the newly formed Corstorphine & Wright sustainability task force.
Russ has worked in a high number of public and private sectors throughout his career and is extremely adaptable. Previous experience includes education (incl. SEN and PMLD), leisure, and residential.
