Jonathan Tarbatt Director of Urban Design
Director of Urban Design Jonathan is a qualified urban designer, architect, town planner and accomplished author.
The depth and breadth of his experience and education in these three disciplines, together with his background in urban geography and sociology, has given him a multi-disciplinary perspective and a unique level of expertise in the built environment.
In a major new role for the practice, Jonathan joined Corstorphine & Wright in 2020 as Director of Urban Design.
For over 25 years, he has worked in both the public and private sectors in the UK, Australia and Ireland and leads Corstorphine & Wright’s presence and position in the field of urban design, with a particular focus on large-scale masterplanning, regeneration and placemaking.
