Jim Hart Director
Jim has 25 years’ experience designing Healthcare and Community facilities, plus a range of commercial sectors including residential and retail.
In 2010 Jim was the Lead Architect for Freshney Green Primary Care Centre, Grimsby, which won the prestigious Health Investor Awards, Building of the Year.
Jim’s particular expertise is in Primary Care and associated community health facilities. His deep understanding of the sector enables him to support clients beyond designing a building. Jim is able to assist GPs in operational discussions, optimising functionality, spatial quality and maximising health outcomes for patients.
Jim has led a number of innovation projects in Primary Care. For example, he designed a Primary Care exhibition space at the Building Research Development headquarters in Watford, which was awarded BREEAM Outstanding; the first to do so in the UK. Continuing the sustainability theme, he helped deliver a Net Zero energy in use Primary Care centre in Manchester in 2018 and is currently working on a Net Zero Carbon Primary Care centre in Polegate.
