On Friday, we attended the Façade Awards UK 2024 at The Midland Hotel in Manchester where Corstorphine & Wright had not 1 but 3 projects shortlisted.
Cortland Broad Street, a 35-storey BTR tower in the heart of Birmingham featured in the ‘Best use of a brick slip cladding system’, whilst Oakley Grove School all through school in Warwickshire and our new build HQ for Unusual Rigging were both up for ‘Best use of a timber clad system’.
Projects shortlisted had to be completed between 1 June 2023 and 1 June 2024 and should have been built on time, within budget and either met or exceeded client’s expectations.
The judges were looking at the overall look of a building, including the architect’s design and how it complements the existing surroundings as well as the challenge and logistics involved to complete the project.
We are thrilled that Unusual HQ was crowned winner of its category!
