Our designs for a 15-storey building providing 290 student flats in Birmingham has been given the go ahead at Birmingham City Council’s planning committee today.

The site which is currently occupied by the former Birmingham Nautical Club is at the corner of Communication Row and Bishopsgate Street.

The development presents a significant opportunity for regeneration in this part of the city. Comprising a mix of studio and cluster bedroom types along with ground floor retail space there will also be a shared garden space, and a roof top social space and garden terrace which will provides views back across the city and the adjacent canal

Work is expected to start on site imminently.
