At Corstorphine & Wright, we are proud to announce the submission of the Middlesbrough Gresham Redevelopment, a pivotal urban redevelopment project designed to transform the heart of Middlesbrough.
Spearheaded in collaboration with Middlesbrough Development Corporation (MDC), Buccleuch Property, and iMpeC, this £200 million proposal promises to reshape the town’s landscape, creating a vibrant, sustainable community.
The masterplan details an exciting vision for the future including over 240 build to rent apartments and over 460 student accommodations.
Alongside residential spaces, the plan introduces a 210-bedroom hotel facility, recently announced to be a Fairfield by Marriot, and revitalized public realm, aligning with the Tees Valley Combined Authority’s objectives to foster economic growth and environmental enhancement.
Public consultations have been integral to this process, reflecting the dedication of the entire project team in developing a scheme that resonates with the community’s needs and Middlesbrough’s heritage.
