The development in Wood Green, London is set to deliver 29 new homes including a mews terrace and two apartment buildings at an infill development of a light industrial site that also revives access to a nearby recreation ground.
One of the Planning Awards’ placemaking categories, the Best Housing Scheme award recognises developments within a range of criteria including the potential for long-lasting impact and benefit to local people. The Frankum Mews development is set to greatly enhance direct access to green space for new and existing residents by reviving a route through the site to Lordship Recreation Ground that was lost to the public decades ago.
The accommodation forms two separate apartment blocks and a linear run of terraced houses. The apartments have been designed with multi-aspect views and full height windows to maximise light with access to a private balcony or terrace.
The project was granted unanimous planning consent by Haringey Council in October 2019 with the scheme developed in close consultation with the Local Authority via Pre-application and Quality Review Panel consultations.
Congratulations to our fantastic client Frankum Mews development and the team at Collective Planning.
