We are pleased to announce that Paul Hughes and Mark Jeffery have recently qualified to enrol on the RIBA Principal Designer Register for Higher-Risk Buildings.
They join Rav Kumar, who was one of the first to qualify at the register’s inception earlier this year.
Their achievement highlights our continued commitment to supporting our clients in implementing the principles and recommendations outlined in Dame Judith Hackitt’s report, now implemented through the Building Safety Act.
The RIBA Principal Designer Register is recognised as the leading professional industry register, aligning with the competence requirements specified in PAS 86:2022 for knowledge, skills, experience, and behaviour. Â The Building Safety Act requires that clients appoint a designer who has control over the design work and ensures their Principal Designer is competent and capable of fulfilling their legal responsibilities.
At Corstorphine & Wright, our commitment to excellence is unwavering in every project we undertake. We continue to offer our expertise across all projects, including those involving Higher-Risk Buildings, under the Principal Designer role.
Should you have any requirements, or if you wish to learn more about the Building Safety Act and its requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us. Â Our team is prepared to provide expert guidance and support to ensure that your projects are safe, compliant, and successful.
