The RICS Social Impact Awards were newly developed for 2020 and recognise the built environment’s positive and transformational contribution to society.
In deciding the winner The judges said:
Tile Cross was a disparate and under occupied school for students who come from many diverse backgrounds. The new sports and teaching facilities have allowed them to provide a better environment for learning, expand their curriculum and rebuild relationships with the wider community.”
