A significant milestone in the construction of our Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) development in Leeds city centre, known as The Store House was reached this week.
The ‘topping out’ ceremony marks the completion of the highest point of the building, a traditional milestone in construction indicating that the structure has reached its maximum height.
The Store House, a new purpose-built student accommodation and prime retail scheme takes the place of the former House of Fraser store and will make a significant contribution to the retail and entertainment district of Briggate. Once complete it is set to provide accommodation for hundreds of students and is part of property developer Manner’s ongoing commitment to contribute to the growth and development of Leeds city. This project represents a significant investment in the city and will provide much-needed high-quality student accommodation.
The development is expected to be completed and ready for occupancy in the next academic year. It will feature state-of-the-art facilities and amenities designed to enhance the student living experience, including study rooms, a gym, communal lounges, and a rooftop terrace.
