Corstorphine & Wright are thrilled to announce that our development project, 100 Church Gate, has received planning approval.
This exciting new project, located in the heart of Leicester City Centre, will consist of 222 residential apartment units. The development site is uniquely situated within the Church Gate conservation area and is home to a number of protected trees. These elements have been instrumental in shaping both the architectural and landscape design of the project. The building rises gracefully from the low rise historic buildings of Butt Close Lane and ascends to align with the civic context of Vaughan Way.
Within the development, a public access route divides the site, further integrating the development into the urban landscape. The materials chosen for the project are inspired by the traditional red brick found in the local area. We have also incorporated references to the buff stone and brick accent details of local heritage assets. This creates a modern architectural aesthetic that is deeply rooted in its context.
