A redevelopment of The Core Shopping Centre in Leeds, Garnet Exchange, has been unanimously approved by Leeds City Council Planning Committee.
On behalf of long-term clients Fusion Group and Tri7, this exciting mixed-use development will feature a combination of retail and leisure units, complemented by a substantial provision of modern student accommodation. This innovative project aims to revitalize the area and create a vibrant hub for both residents and students alike.
Design inspiration has been taken from the historical setting with ‘the civic scale of The Headrow acknowledged alongside the intricate detailing of Albion Place and Lands Lane’ and the plans include two new pedestrian streets inspired by the arcades of Leeds.
We are delighted to see this scheme gain approval and move forward, congratulations to all teams involved.
