Steven’s is an architect whose work is focused on urban centre regeneration projects which create a sense of place through high quality, functional design.
Since qualifying at the University of Liverpool School of Architecture, Steven has worked at several architectural offices in the UK, New Zealand and Canada. He joined Corstorphine & Wright in 2011.
Steven brings a strong creative and design input into a project, ensuring a careful balance with the scheme’s viability and deliverability.
Steven’s main role has been as a design architect, developing and informing a brief through a careful process of idea testing and consultation.
Before starting Corstorphine & Wright Steven worked on large scale retail projects such as the High Cross Shopping Centre in Leicester. He also developed leisure expertise in the development of a new leisure and civic office development for Redcar and Cleveland Council. Significant projects since joining Corstorphine & Wright include the award-winning Leake Street Arches beneath Waterloo station, large mixed-use/masterplanning schemes such as the Bargate Quarter, Southampton and Epping Town Centre and commercial development such as St Alphege Place in Solihull.
The project portfolio has been centred around retail, mixed-use and masterplanning, but also has a broad depth of experience in residential, leisure and commercial.
